Vimal becomes ‘Eththan’

The ‘Kalavani’ producer and protagonist are coming together once again, aiming to repeat the magic. If sources are to be believed, the new film has been titled ‘Eththan’ and it would go on floors soon.

“Vimal and Naseer of Sherali Films shared a very good rapport when ‘Kalavani’ was shaping up. Now that the film was released and declared a super hit, they have decided to join hands again”, sources say.

’Eththan’ will be written and directed by Suresh, a debutant. “Quite like ‘Kalavani’, it would be a feel-good story with humour. At the same time, the ‘Pasanga’ actor would be portrayed in a different light”, add sources.

‘Renigunta’ fame Sanusha will play the heroine of ‘Eththan’, while music will be by Taj Noor (of ‘Vamsam’). Singampul, Mayilsamy, Jayaprakash, Manobala, M S Baskar and others will play important roles. Lyrics are by Na Muthukumar.
